PARTICIPLES : PASSIVE PARTICIPLE

Passive Participle  

Passive Participle menggunakan verb-3, misalanya stopped, worked, broken, written dan lain sebagainya. Passive Participle umumnya digunakan setelah have (have, has, having, had) sebagai penyusun perfect tense.

Misalnya : - She has gone to the food stall.
                   - we had found the solution.
                   - I havecompleted the work

Akan tetapi, passive participle tersebut bisa juga difungsikan sebagai berikut :

a) Sebagai adjective atau penjelas kata benda.
    Contoh : She saw a piece of broken glass in the corner (broken menjelaskan kata benda glass)

b) Digunakan setelah linkin verb atau be untuk menunjukan kalimat pasif.
    Contoh : - The window is opened in the morning.
                    - She seemed worried. 

c) Untuk menggabungkan dua kejadian yang terjadi berurutan (dimana salah satu kejadian tersebut   
    merupakan kalaimat pasif).
    Contoh : Shaken, he walked away from the wrecked car (gabungan dari he was shaken and walked
                    away from the wrecked car)
